What are you emerging from?
I've always loved humor, especially satire. I guess that's why I couldn't help but laugh at this piece over at Sacred Sandwich. Its exactly the trouble I have with a lot of the "Emergent" church stuff. I'm no Luddite, but at times I just want the "old time religion" - sin, substitutionary atonement, salvation, sanctification, Second coming. When the people of God are afraid to use the language of God, its (IMHO) gone too far.
