What kind of Christian?

This article in Leadership Journal/Christianity Today discusses five distinct types of Christians in today's world.

We have:
  • Active Christians
  • Professing Christians
  • Liturgical Christians
  • Private Christians
  • Cultural Christians
Does this list cover it all?  What's missing, if anything?

It's interesting to me that 45% are not significantly tied in to a church, and based on the wording of the descriptions in the article, 61% don't particularly see the need for a relationship with Jesus Christ.  This is from a pool of people calling themselves Christians!

As I have grown older I find the focus of the church needs to be two-fold, first we need to reach the lost lost here and abroad. The second place the church needs to concentrate is the spiritual life of its members. I find churches locally where the members have been born again and always seek to fellowship, but socially and politically they are off-base. They have not gotten into scripture and don't understand why the unborn need to be protected or the importance of lifelong commitment in marriage.
The more we grow spiritually, the more we want to learn. The other thing that occurs is a return to the ideals our country was founded on. The church needs to concentrate on the individual and the individual will become involved socially and politically.
