Christmas CDs you should have in your library
If you like Christmas music, and would like to expand your horizons a bit, here are two CDs you should have. One is from Keith and Kristyn Getty, Ian Hannah, Stuart Townend amongst others, and the other from Sovereign Grace Music (Bob Kauflin, Mark and Stephen Altrogge and more).
Both of these contain new songs that are truly a joy to hear and ponder.
New Irish Hymns #3: Incarnation. This one seems to be out of stock. You can also try here or at www.gettymusic.com.
By the way, all four of the New Irish Hymn CDs are outstanding.
Savior: Celebrating the Mystery of God Become Man.
While there, also check out the Indelible Grace series. They do a great job of taking old hymn text and adding it to new styles of music. Some times they simply update the tunes with new instrumentation and rhythms, other times they create new melodies to go with powerful lyrics.
