Proverbs 28:14 has this to say: "Blessed is the one who fears the LORD always, but whoever hardens his heart will fall into calamity."

"Blessed is" or "Blessed are" are used a total of 97 times in the Bible.  That's quite a recipe for happiness.  Solomon uses the phrases 8 times in the book of Proverbs.  Many times, it's as a contrast to someone with the opposite action, such as in today's proverb.

I keep thinking back to Psalm 1:1 "Blessed is the man who walks not in the counsel of the wicked, nor stands in the way of sinners, nor sits in the seat of scoffers".

Keep your delight in God's word, and your trust in Him, and you too can be called blessed.
