With the 4th of July/Independence Day coming quickly, I was delighted to find a reference and link to this blog.  It pretty much sums up my feelings on the subject.

Too many churches today give up too much time that should be devoted to corporate worship of and praise to God, and spend it worshiping and praising the USA, the American flag, or men and women who have fought for the country.  That's not what we're called to do, folks.
