The blogosphere has seen quite a bit of interest and comment on the Lifeway stores position toward the latest edition of Gospel Today. I usually comment and leave a subject - maybe I'm ADD - but Internet Monk had a couple of very cogent comments on the subject. He rightly comments on the "pretzel logic" (Send in the Clowns) that allows Lifeway to take Gospel Today off the rack and yet devote a section of the store to Beth Moore studies. He also points out the inconsistency of many churches when it comes to "applying" their theology in every situation.

I'm still conservative in my position - but I need consistency in reasoning......

and that's what is driving me nuts about this situation.
