I was saddened to learn of the recent home going of one of my seminary professors, Dr. Harold Hoehner. He was that rare blend of scholarship (multiple earned doctorates, fluent in German, capable of quoting the New Testament in the original Greek - along with the textual variants) and devotion. He was also blessed with a unique sense of humor - he knew more Aggie jokes than anyone I have ever known! The Christian community and Dallas Seminary has a special hole that won't easily be filled.
