Who knew? The best value in treats
I've been eating Necco Wafers for as long as I can remember. They're one of the first things I considered a "value" because you get so much for your money. If you can control yourself (it wasn't always possible) a package of Necco wafers can last all day. So, imaging my surprise when we were on our way from Boston's Logan Airport to our B&B on graduation weekend - and saw this sign:

"Necco" stands for New England Confectionery Company! Who knew? We bought a pack just to celebrate this wonderful piece of knowledge - they're still good
So.... what's your favorite "treat"?

Wow Alan -- I certainly didn't know; the origin of the "NECCO" name. I did know how much I enjoyed them. I also enjoyed Beeman's gum and Clove gum -- but don't see them around anymore. They've probably been banned from existence because of promoting tooth decay or whatever. Anyway, thanks for the trip down nostalgia lane. I love nostalgia -- but know what? It's more like it is now than it has ever been before. <

Hey!
Does Necco make Nekot cookies for Lance snack food company in Charlotte, NC?
Clove gum was the bomb and definitely the remedy for blue cheese dressing on your salad on your first date.
