2009 Global Race for the Cure
We got up early this morning and took the Metro to the National Mall where we joined over 50,000 of our closest friends to raise money to fight breast cancer. It was a terrific and exhausting day. We got some great pictures and had a great time for a good cause.

Some groups know how to have a good time and make it an
"event", like this 'Gilligan's Island' group

A lot of churches had teams that raised money for the cause.
Notice the pink tee shirt, which are worn by survivors.

I loved this guy's tee shirt, which says "I wear pink for
my Mom". That's cool!
Our company team had over 40 participants this year and we raised a lot of money for a terrific cause fighting a horrible disease. Maybe you can join us next year! Then it will REALLY be party (but only if you're there

Alan -- Thanks for sharing and letting us participate in even a small vicarious way. Ron <
