Bible Study groups

We're going to try another small group Bible study for men.  This time, we're going to work through a Michael Card book "A Sacred Sorrow" a discussion of laments.  It will be interesting to see what the turnout is - we're including grilled burgers, brats, etc., to try to sweeten the pot.

Have you had successful Bible studies for men?  If so, what was the study on?  Anything special to go along with it?  Any great words of wisdom?
