Does Copenhagen Know?
I wonder if Copenhagen has been notified? This is what global warming looks like from our house in northern Virginia. In case you're interested there is a pretty cool photo gallery at WTOP's web site - they're the local news/talk radio station. Apparently the chilly white phenomena is fairly widespread. Lost in much of the coverage of this is the fact that this is earlier than average for the first snow fall.

I'm posting these in the hope that the diminishing population of polar bears will feel some comfort that - at least for a couple of days in December - they will have a place they will feel comfortable. If you would notify the people who will soon be meeting in Copenhagen it might be of interest to them.
